2020 has been the year of digital programming.

As galleries and museums around the world have closed their physical doors, a deluge of artistic activity has moved online.

Experimenta and West Space present a conversation on the disruption of in-person exhibitions, and the ongoing effects it might have for art. What are the alternative modes of engaging with art that have come out from this year? And how can we bring audiences and artists closer through online spaces?

Experimenta x West Space: Disrupting the Digital is a panel discussion that looks at the ways contemporary art could change by (finally) embracing the digital.

IRL at docklands—and URL via recording—this conversation features West Space’s Tamsen Hopkinson, Experimenta’s Nicky Pastore, artist Fayen D’Evie and curator Jessica Clark with curator and writer Emma McRae.
