Yujia Melody Ma comes from Canton, China. She is now a third-year student of the Bachelor of Fashion (Design) at RMIT University School of Fashion and Textiles. 

Melody likes to use her own experiences and memories as inspiration. Melody’s works are full of imagination and “uncertainty”. She believes that only by jumping out of the inherent impression of being that you are able to make excellent works – and that the existence of clothing is based on the human body, which can also be explained as “clothing serves human” instead of “human serves clothing”. 

In the future, Melody hopes to work in an independent fashion design studio.
