Toby Reed

Toby Reed is the leader and founder of Nervegna Reed Architecture, an award winning design firm led by Toby Reed and Anna Nervegna that works across mediums centred on architectural design and discourse. As an extension to their architectural work in Australian and urban design in China, their design practice often engages in filmmaking projects about design and video installation projects for the RMIT Design Hub, RMIT Gallery, the Melbourne Festival and MADA. They’re videos have documented the Melbourne design scene over the last ten years and are currently making a documentary on the St Kilda Pride Centre. Nervegna Reed’s built projects such as the Arrow Studio and the recently completed Melbourne Quakers Centre have been widely published. Their Precinct Energy Project (PEP Dandenong) led the way in local green district energy production, powering Australia’s first precinct with cogeneration.
