Sarah Rowbottam
Sarah Rowbottam is a Curator and Producer who grew up in Boorloo (Perth) and spent most of her days swimming in the ocean on the South West. She co-founded Proximity Festival in 2012, an artist-led initiative known for commissioning intimate one-on-one performances and recently collaborated with DADAA on a virtual Lab focused on shifting contexts and expanded possibilities of creative access and site-specific performance. Sarah has a 10 year history with Perth Festival, producing major festival commissions often centred on water, story and place. She now works, lives and wanders the unceded lands and rivers of the Kulin Nations in Narrm (Melbourne) where she is a Producer at Arts House.
