Priya Namana is an Indian contemporary artist living and working Naarm. Her practice is situated at the intersection of image, sound, performance and installation, and is a visceral response to the politics of the present, situated within the framework of affirmative ethics. While currently situated in the visual art context Priya has previously applied her methodology and approach to community engagement contexts. She has shown her conceptual works in various contexts in so called Australia and Asia and her work is held in private collections internationally. She also has a private practice of poetry.
