Melbourne Music Week-Extended
Melbourne Music Week (MMW) is back for 2020. This year’s program of free and ticketed events spans three months and, for the first time, features a 100 percent local line-up. This special edition of the event – Melbourne Music Week–Extended – will run from Wednesday 9 December 2020 to Sunday 28 February 2021.
From headline shows at iconic city locations and takeovers at some of Melbourne’s favourite live music venues to a new wellness series, plus a dog-friendly gig, this live and local MMW–Extended is the first festival bringing (COVID-safe) live music back to Melbourne. Most events are in-person, but there will also be some online talks and podcasts deep-diving into a range of contemporary industry issues with diverse local voices.
Supporting the recovery of the local live music industry is at the core of MMW–Extended, and this event is the ticket to re-discovering the best of Melbourne’s live music scene as it returns.
