Kimberley Moulton

Kimberley Moulton is a Yorta Yorta woman, curator and writer who works in knowledge’s, histories and futures at the intersection of First Peoples historical cultural material and contemporary art. Her practice centres First Peoples anti-colonial curatorial methodologies and works to extend the paradigm of what exhibition, collections and research can be with First Peoples communities, in and out of institutions. Kimberley has written extensively in various art and museum publications and led research across North America, Europe and the UK on South Eastern Cultural material and First Peoples art. Kimberley is currently Senior Curator, South-Eastern Aboriginal Collections at Museums Victoria and Artistic Associate for RISING Festival Melbourne, and has independently curated exhibitions across Australia and in the US. Kimberley is Deputy Chair of the board for Shepparton Art Museum and on the board of directors for Barpirdhila Foundation and the International Art Critics Association- Australia.
