Jessica Clark (Palawa AU) is an independent curator and current PhD candidate at the VCA, University of Melbourne. Her practice and research are new dialogues, challenging preconceived ideas/ideals, focused on promoting performative nature of the curatorial and contemporary art, in particular Aboriginal art. She is currently curatorial associate for Experimenta Life Forms (2020-2023); working in collaboration to develop education resources for Tjitjiku Tjukurpa: Children’s Dreaming Project (2019-2021); and curatorial and academic assistant for Natalie King at the VCA, University of Melbourne. Recent curatorial projects include VIETNAM – ONE IN, ALL IN (2019-2020), WITHIN. BEYOND. BETWEEN. (2019), and All of us (2018).
