Guy Blackman and Ben O’Connor are co-managers of Chapter Music, one of Australia’s longest running and best respected independent record labels. They have worked to bring adventurous, exploratory Australian music to worldwide attention for nearly 30 years. Pitchfork ran a feature on Chapter in 2018 entitled “Where to Start With Chapter Music, the Australian Label Behind 25 Years of Great Indie Pop”, saying the “label boasts a rich discography that is often gentle but rarely weak.”
As DJs, Guy and Ben have played together at Meredith Music Festival (for 11 years straight), Laneway, Hope St Radio and RRR.
