Dr Fiona Lee

Fiona Lee is a Geelong-based artist facilitator and one of the founders of The Rogue Academy along with artist Amanda Shone and academic researcher, Luci Pangrazio. She holds a PhD in art and conversation using The Community of Inquiry method (developed from the Philosophy for Children movement of the 70s) as an artistic tool to produce new knowledge.
She has lectured extensively in visual art, education and design and is Chair of the Board of Creative Geelong. As part of that position she sits on the Geelong Design Week curatorial panel, G21 Arts and Culture Pilar and the Regional Creative Strategy Steering Group. As an artist she was also on the City of Greater Geelong COVID-19 Arts Recovery (G-CAR) Advisory Panel. She is one of 7 studio holders at Geelong’s Studio 112 in the city centre. Her current practice covers sculpture, painting, drawing, new media, writing, socially engaged art, and dialogical art.
