Dianne Dickson

Dianne Dickson’s multi-disciplinary art practice uses dance ,painting, drawing, animation and installation to explore the unusual, intimate, and unsettling narratives of everyday life. Focusing on the idiosyncratic nature of remote Australia – notably the small town of Rainbow in Victoria – Dianne’s work seeks to explore the poetry and oddness inherent in places, people and histories. Since graduating from the Master of Fine Arts program at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, in 2013, She has exhibited in Australia and overseas, most recently at the Melaka Arts Festival in Malaysia.
