Claudia Sforzati is a third-year fashion design student in the Bachelor of Fashion (Design) program at RMIT University School of Fashion and Textiles who is interested in the effect isolation has on the human body and consequently the garments humans exists in. Her work aims to explore how our bodies and minds would interact with these garments to alleviate or intervene a spectrum of feelings felt by individuals throughout this period of isolation and thereafter. 

Claudia is interested in the tactile nature of fabrics against the skin, emotional responses and memory’s surrounding those fabrics and sensory colour theory combined with fabrication. In the future, Claudia wishes to work in non-clinical community mental health whilst still working in fashion creating sensory clothing for people with mental health issues.
