Chapter is a champion of Australian music with a strong Melbourne focus. A queer-run label, Chapter is committed to being queer, female and people of colour friendly.
Chapter won Best Independent Label at the 2019 AIR Awards. Tone Deaf have called Chapter “almost unequivocally the most treasured record label in Australia”, while Rolling Stone called Chapter “one of Australia’s most enduring and popular independent labels.”
