Ceridwen McCooey

When Ceridwen was nine, she decided to play the cello after being told she was too small for double bass. All these years later, she sincerely thanks her nine year old self for making that decision as this instrument has allowed her to take diverse and exciting pathways through music.
Ceridwen is currently in her third year at the Melbourne Conservatorium of music where she studies classical cello performance. However, her main passion lies with electronic looping, improvisation and in general musical creation and collaboration. She feels fortunate enough to play old music by day and new music by night.
