Briony Barr is a visual-conceptual artist whose work explores process-based drawing and the effects of boundaries and limitations. She regularly collaborates with fellow artists and writers as well as scientists, dancers and musicians on projects ranging from large-scale drawing installations and multidisciplinary improvisation-performance, to teaching educational workshops and making picture books and graphic novels. Briony has exhibited in solo and group shows in Australia, Mexico, America and South Korea and is an honorary fellow of The University of Melbourne’s School of Physics. She is co-founder of art-science collective and publisher Scale Free Network.
