Andrés Jaque

Andrés Jaque is an architect, writer, and curator. Founder of the Office for Political Innovation, a New York/Madrid-based agency working at the intersection of research, critical environmental practices, and design, he also directs the Advanced Architectural Design program at Columbia University. He recently published Superpowers of Scale, documenting a range of recent projects exploring ideas connected to porn, dating apps, interior design, maintenance, and the territorial distribution of toxicity. Jaque has been awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Architecture Biennale, and his work is held by MoMA and the Art Institute of Chicago. He co-curated Manifesta 12, and is Chief Curator of the upcoming Shanghai Biennale.
