Andreia is a Colombian architect involved in Children Architecture Education (ChAE). She started working as a volunteer in the Bogotá slums, sharing with children life values through reading and playing games. Also collaborating with groups working in ChAE she realized how architects can learn with/for children by observing their behaviors and connections in relation to their inhabited spaces, wider neighborhoods and city environments. She created ARKalamar, workshops that enable architects and pedagogues to understand how children perceive architecture-space. Andreia is currently PhD candidate at RMIT. She is speculating pedagogies for ChAE to respond to a future Earth in need of repair.
