Alessandra Cianchetta

Cianchetta has been the lead designer on major projects for top international design firms – including as founder and head designer of AWP/AWILDC – one of Europe’s most prestigious design firms, pioneering projects on museums, follies, university campuses, structures, exhibitions and landscapes around the world. She has worked on a myriad of award-winning projects and designs across the globe. Based in London and New York – her visionary, nomadic and trans-disciplinary practice focuses upon radical evolution in contemporary design, cultural projects, architecture, new technologies and game-changing urban planning. Cianchetta’s accomplishments include the masterplan of Paris’s Central Business District (La Défense), the Lausanne L’Orée de Crissier masterplan in Switzerland, and the Ten Streets Arts District in Liverpool—an expansive development in the Stanley Dock UNESCO World Heritage site.
